I quite like Love so sweet, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't perform other songs from time to time as well >.< As with everything, you get sick with this song when they have to perform it like every single time they have to do a best of medley... So just like stopped singing A.RA.SHI at every concert, they should sing other songs at their TV appearances once in a while. After all they have so many great hits and it's not like Love so sweet was their only successfull single... I often wonder whether it's the TV executives deciding they need to hear this song one more time or whether it's really that popular in Japan?
AoKimi would've been nice, but I'd have taken a complete version of Kokoro no Sora anytime~ And it's been so long since Tokei Jikake no Umbrella...

As for the vid...
The fake translation is funny and fits the video.
But I seriously have no idea why someone chose exactly this particular scene to create a parody (and apparently it has been done over and over with this clip - I read that it's been several hundred times?).
Since I speak German it was near impossible to ignore the original dialogue and because of Bruno Ganz' superb performance I was more caught up in the horror that unravels than being able to laugh...

I have no idea why Japan TV networks favor LSS so much. I agree with you that Kokoro no Sora would have been more fitting. I hope it wasn't offensive to people who watched the original German movie; I watched a clip with the original translation just to make sure I knew what the German dialogue was about. XD

this clip is really funny for those of us that don't speak German exactly because we don't understand a thing of what he's saying :P he's so angry! and everybody around him is so nervous! XD out of context and not knowing the language it's the key to enjoy it! but I understand it's not funny if you understand the language, you hear words where we just hear emotions *shrugs*

Thanks! Yes, the photo came from the January 2016 edition of Popolo; it's from a report about the last episode that aired.

I can't speak for everyone but I always get drawn into this scene since it is one of the key moments from the film (and I'm a huuuge fan of Bruno Ganz ^^) Personally I wouldn't have chosen it for a meme but that doesn't mean it is offensive. I think it's okay to make fun of Hitler, that doesn't mean you belittle the victims of murder, war, regime etc.
In fact Hitler parodies are popular in Germany (though of course there are always people who are strictly against it). E.g. there's a (satirical) TV show that often brings the NNN (newest national news) It always shows the same Hitler clip. He is then voiced over each time anew while he complains about how stupid todays Neo-Nazis are (and so on).

I guess so as well. I should stress that I'm a huuuuge fan of Bruno Ganz and I simply cannot not watch him when he's giving his all like that! *laughs*

Bhawahahaaha! We do have that kind of love-hate feeling towards LSS but what can we do to an iconic song that had been a mechanism for them to fame, right?
