I know many of you haven't seen this, so just walk on by if you don't want to be spoiled.

Here's an adorable segment where Ohno recalled his awkward moment with Matsujun.




Ohno: You know how people always say that we’re really close? But haven’t there been times when things were sort of awkward?

Nino: An awkward situation…? [struggles to recall]

Sho: It depends on the situation, there were times like that.

Ohno: I had those moments too. I knew I was in the wrong, but I couldn’t admit it.

Nino: Ohh!

Ohno: It happened recently! I remember having one awkward moment with Matsujun!



Nino: Oh! What’s that about?

Ohno: Didn’t it happen last year? I was rehearsing my solo, and Matsujun told me, “Perform the full song.” But I felt that I couldn’t do it.

Nino: So you did only part of it.

Ohno: I’m a stubborn fella too, so I said, “It’ll be okay! Things will be fine.” Then Matsujun disappeared. I remember thinking, “Oh no, I said something awful.”

Aiba: [turns to Jun] Did you remember that incident?

Jun: Yeah I do. (T/N: Jun admits this with a semi-reluctant tone and it’s very cute to watch.)



Nino: So things felt awkward between the both of you?

Jun: Sorry, to be honest, I was seriously pissed off!


Nino & Ohno: ROFL

Sho: Why were you mad?

Jun: The flow of the concert was such that if we didn’t have this period (where Ohno performed the full chorus), we couldn’t move on to the next segment.

Nino: Including the change in clothing and all?

Jun: For the sake of transiting to the next segment of the concert, I asked Ohno to perform for a longer period. If we didn’t have enough time, I suggested that we could drag on his segment by including this and that. But he said, “No! No way! I can only perform for this long, and that’s it!” Then I said, “Fine, you don’t have to do it then.” I remember that conversation very vividly.

Ohno: I couldn’t bring myself to apologize!

Sho: Did you have a journal entry about that?

Ohno: I wonder if I wrote about it… (flips through his diary) Whoa, I actually wrote in my diary in 2010 too…

[Nino sneaks in with a tickle.]

Ohno: STOP IT.

Nino: Oooh scary.

Ohno: You mustn’t look at my diary!

Aiba: He’s dead serious about it.

Sho: (laughing) Dead serious… haha!

Jun: Lemme see!

(Nino, Jun and Aiba proceed to tackle Ohno.)

Ohno: Stop it!

Them admitting to these things finally and finding a chance to talk things like this over is what makes it so cute. I've always thought Ohno was stubborn, but Jun being pissed off and holding it in trying to be patient with his leader is also cute XD

I was abit shocked honestly when they said Ochan will reveal his diary!! I always thought that he likes his privacy.. but when they ganged on him and he jumped on his diaries protecting them.. yappari!! XD he doesn't like it!!

Ah so that was what happen? I watched with the documentary with bare knowledge of Japanese so I don't really catch what Ohno said that made Jun mad. Haha the clash of stubborn Riida and stoic Jun. Now I see really that was how they fight: by silent fighting, thankfully that they didn't really keep it to heart and be able to laugh about it later. Haha it seems both still remember it.
That moment was cute especially when Nino & Jun tried to steal the journals from Ohno. Ah I was hoping that he'll reveal more but I guess we should be thankful that he was willing to read it even a little. And he even got two of them even.

oh, well, we know Jun is perfeccionist and that's what probably pissed him off :P Ohno wasn't joining his idea of the "perfect concert" XD but everything went fine in the end and now they can laugh about it. I think both are stubborn LOL

But seriously, I think we (including Arashi) can laugh about it now but it must have been so awkward then! I guess this was Oh-chan's way of apologising without really saying sorry.. By bringing it up ^^:

I can totally imagine similar fights and arguments between the perfectionist-but-stubborn people in the group.. Like Sho, Ohno and Matsjun - especially because they all have their own way of being "perfect". Makes me love them even more though, that it feels like they got closer as a group because of it instead of.. well, falling to pieces.

I can't wait to watch the full show!
