This was a random and adorable round table discussion that the members had with TV Life. They discuss episodes in which Leader has acted as their life saver. And what's this I hear about Aiba and fried chicken!? (I translated and scanned this off my own copy of TV Life.)
T/N: The title is a pun on the theme of 24H TV, “Love Saves the Earth”.
The 4 members announce the instances where they’ve been rescued by Leader! And what are Leader’s thoughts?

SP Talk – The “Leader is Arashi’s Life Saver!?” Round Table Discussion
T/N: The title is a pun on the theme of 24H TV, “Love Saves the Earth”.
The 4 members announce the instances where they’ve been rescued by Leader! And what are Leader’s thoughts?

TV Life (TL): Speaking of 24H TV’s “Love Saves the Earth”, would the members from Arashi kindly tell us episodes in which you thought, “Ah, I’ve been saved by Leader!”
Nino: He’s not done any saving. Thank you very much. (laughs)
Everyone: (laughs)
Ohno: No, no, no. I’m sure I have!
Jun: Instances where I was saved by Leader, huh. I wonder what they’d be…
Sho: I’m sure there should be plenty of instances.
Nino: Um hmm. There can’t be zero episodes.
Sho: I’m sure there are some, but I can’t recall them immediately…
Nino: Ah, that’s it! It’s the episode where he’ll treat us to only ramen, something like that. (laughs)
Sho: In that restaurant, yes?
Nino: That’s right. I have no idea why, but he’ll only treat us to ramen from that particular restaurant.
TL: So has Ohno treated the other Arashi members?
Everyone: Yes, he has!
Sho: He has this perplexing sense of responsibility when it comes to ramen. (laughs)
Nino: Yeah, that’s right! Previously, he told us, “Oh, just bring me the receipt (from the ramen place) and I’ll pay you back!”
Sho: What a mature disposition.
Jun: Certainly.
Nino: Which means, even if he’s not there eating with us, he’ll treat us to the ramen.
Aiba: Leader, do you have some sort of connection to that ramen place?
Ohno: … …
Nino: (laughs) He shouldn’t be having any connections though. So he’s a life saver in that sense.
Sho: For me, when Leader brought me fishing, he prepared a fishing rod, tons of lures and fish sausages for me. That really was a life saver.
Aiba: I see.
Sho: If it weren’t for those fish sausages, I would have been terribly hungry!
Nino: I see. You [Ohno] have been saving people here and there.
Ohno: I sure have~! (laughs)
Aiba: Lemme see, what else is there… Ah! When we all went to New York, I ordered some fried chicken and French fries at a restaurant. Matsujun wouldn’t really eat it for me. (laughs) But Leader ate it together with me!
Jun: (laughs) I can’t stomach fried chicken and French fries every day!
Sho: So Aiba-san has been saved by Leader too.
Aiba: Yeah. So very casually.
Nino: It’s a waste to leave food uneaten.
Aiba: Yup, that’s right.
Sho: That was a close shave! If Leader hadn’t been there, your food would have been left behind!
Aiba: It was a close one.
Jun: I’m telling you, I can’t eat so much oily food! (laughs)
Sho: Which means, Matsujun has been saved by Leader too, right?
Jun: True. Since Leader ate the fried food in my place, I’ve been saved by his actions. (laughs)
TL: Now Leader, having heard from the members, any last words for them?
Ohno: I see… I guess I’m happy that they feel like they’ve been saved by me.
Everyone: (laughs)
Nino: You wanted everyone to feel that you’ve been saving them, yes?
Sho: Were you aware that you were saving us?
Ohno: … (laughs) Even if it’s just a casual gesture, I’m just happy to know that people noticed!

Also, is that a thing? Japanese people don't leave leftovers or something?
Does it have something to do with being grateful for your food?
