Can you believe that this interview took place close to 10 years ago? I can only imagine the uncertainties going through Ohno's mind as Arashi "struggled" during this phase of their career.

In The Garage - Part 1

Ohno Satoshi talks about the transition in his personality throughout the years and how the other members have changed.

The Annual Drama Awards is organized by TV Life Magazine, where readers cast their votes for their favorite dramas, actors and actresses.



The winners of the 22nd Annual Drama Awards have been determined. The drama chosen for Best Drama is Kagi no Kakatta Heya, starring Ohno Satoshi (Fuji TV), that was aired in the April slot of 2012. Out of a total of 7 awards, Kagi snagged 5 prizes, including Best Actor. Truly, a brilliant accomplishment which is befitting of the No. 1 drama in 2012.

Ohno Satoshi bags the Best Actor Award for the third time since his first starring drama, Maou (2008) and Kaibutsu-kun (2010). The first thing which he said was, "Oh course I'm happy about the Best Actor Award; this is a drama that everyone worked really hard on, so I'm elated that we got the Drama prize!" During the interview, it just so happened that Kagi no Kakatta Heya was on its rerun. As he recalled the memories from filming the drama, Ohno-san said with deep gratitude, "When we wrapped up the filming... I was ecstatic to be liberated from all my lines at last. (laughs) However, I gained a lot of confidence from being able to memorize that many lines. No matter what kind of movie/drama I'll be taking on next, I can feel that I'll be okay, so I'm really thankful."
