transitions101Here's a translation that I did on Twitter a few months back when Arashi announced the "This is Arashi" concert. I'm so glad and relieved that they managed to pull off this concert without any major incident and enter the hiatus on such a high note.
Sho: Good evening, everyone from the FC!
Arashi: We're Arashi!
Ohno: Thank you so much for supporting us at last week's Arafes! Your cheers have certainly reached us all!
Sho: "Certainly", yes? We have some news to share with you today. Ninomiya-san, please.
Nino: We'll be holding a concert at the end of the year!
Sho: You delivered this amazing news so smoothly!
Aiba: Does that mean fans will be able to listen to the new songs from "This is Arashi"? (All turn to Jun)
Jun: ...Maybe you will, maybe you won't!
Sho: There's still a possibility, huh.
Aiba: I wanna listen!

Sho: New Year's Eve! How will the concert be held?
Jun: We can't perform in front of an audience, so we'll be doing something which is a first for Arashi, a LIVE STREAMED concert without an audience!
Sho: Usually, we would have held a Dome tour so we could spend a great time with as many fans as possible. With COVID-19, we had to give up on that idea. But ever since we announced our hiatus about 2 years ago, we've always been thinking about how we can spend 31 Dec 2020 together with our fans.
Jun: The world has seen an unprecedented disaster this year from COVID-19, Arashi, as well as all of you, had to revise so many of our plans. But it's *precisely* during times like this that we want to impart some cheer and happiness to our fans! We tried to be optimistic, didn't give up and discussed with our staff countless times, and are now able to bring this news to you.
Regarding this live streaming, since we announced the hiatus, we've been wondering how we can spend an enjoyable time on 31 Dec 2020 with as many people as possible under the same conditions. We've been thinking about this and searching for a solution even before COVID-19.
Ohno: This is the first concert that we're live streaming and it's a new experiment for us. We hope that you'll join us and complete the concert together with us. We often think about what everyone would enjoy and will be planning segments to make that happen.
Aiba: I'm sure that it's not just Arashi, but all our fans who are lingering in the memories of Arafes,
Nino: That's right.
Aiba: Our team is united and preparing for the year end concert, so please look forward to it!
