Hello.
It’s me.
Sorry to be abrupt…
We, Arashi.
It’s not rare for people to say that we're in sync.
Even for slightly longer comments, we’re able to say them in a synchronized fashion.
For example, the slightly lengthy comments on the VS Arashi Specials…
“VS Arashi! The Three-Way Battle to Determine the Ultimate Champion!”
We’re able to say stuff like that in unison.
The trick is to listen out for the intake of breath of the person next to you, and match your pace with his.
(Who would even find this information useful…)
That’s why…
We’ve even been told, “You guys are like quintuplets…”
And we say stuff like, “This is the one thing we’re good at, after having done this for 10 years.”
Amidst all that.
There was a situation which called for us to speak in unison.
The lines were slightly lengthy, but we spoke perfectly in sync.
Staff: Ooh! You guys are really synchronized! I guess you could do this too then…
We took a shot at the longer lines provided by the staff.
Even so, we were synchronized after all.
Arashi: This is the one thing we’re good at~
The comment was a given.
We casually spoke about this amongst ourselves.
“Would it be interesting if we could say, ‘Thanks for your hard work!’ in unison? (laughs)”
Certainly.
If we could perform that in unison too, it would be pretty fun.
The issue would then be, “How in sync are they?”
As we spoke about that, we continued filming.
…then filming came to an end.
Staff: That brings us to the end of today’s shoot!
Aiba: Ready, and…
Arashi: Thanks for all your hard work~!
…hang on.
Aiba-kun…
It’s meaningless when done like that.
We’re able to speak in unison without the “Ready, and”. That’s why people say that we’re synchronized.
That’s Aiba-kun for you.
Exceeding expectations.
Well then.
At this point.
(Ready, and~)
Thanks for all your hard work!
