transitions101Just when I thought I wouldn't have anything to post for Sho's birthday, each Arashi member sent a birthday message to Sho! There's even a bonus mention of Ohno as well, though he didn't appear in the video.
We also got a message from the birthday boy himself, read on for more details!
On 25 January, happy birthday, Sakurai-kun! (applause) Congratulations!
I really owe a lot to Sakurai-kun; when I developed a slight fever after the live broadcast on January 3rd, I told the members that I would miss filming 2 episodes of VSD. And then, I guess it was the day after, or 2 days after that? Sho-kun told me that he had passed fruits and stuff to my apartment's caretaker and reminded me to retrieve it!
The fruits were SO delicious and there was corn beef too! It was SO good! I still have some left, and I've been enjoying it every day! I can eat it with crackers or have it with rice and an egg yolk on top! It was a life saver! Thank you so much for that!
Sakurai-kun, I've already passed your birthday present to the manager; it's the underwear that I really like and wear often, it's really comfy and I've sent 10 pairs over! Please try them out! I've included camo print ones too! Please enjoy them! Happy Birthday, Sakurai Sho-kun!

I've thought hard about what present I should give the diligent Sakurai-san; given it's difficult to go out in the current situation, I've been ordering yummy foods to eat at home. I'd like to pass Sakurai-san an assorted food basket!

With the new show, Yakai and Zero, Ninomiya will be checking out the new and existing shows, so please continue to give it your best! I'm not sure how I should pass you your present, but I'm definitely buying and passing your present to you.
I've been searching for a great camo present. There aren't a lot of people who'll talk about your camo print lately, so I intend to talk about it until the day I die, and I'll work hard to find a new camo print item. He practically spent all his time talking about corn beef! Oh man, that corn beef is SO GOOD! If you'd add just a little mayonnaise, it's really yummy. I was happy about the underwear! I guess it's been 4 years? I haven't been wearing any other underwear besides Aiba-kun's. I've said this to Aiba-kun too, I feel Aiba-kun as I'm wearing his underwear each day. There were 2 camo print ones too! Thank you.
And Matsujun! It's been a while since I've seen Matsumoto Jun! Are you well? You looked chirpy! I was happy over the Taiga drama announcement! I think it was a few hours before the official announcement? Our manager informed all of us. He wrote, "Everyone, we have some MAJOR news!" The way he wrote it was like some sort of breaking news. That's how happy we were! I'm really looking forward to IeJun!

About the camo items, when I was cleaning up my apartment during the Stay Home period, naturally I had kept them. Nino's presents are pretty elaborate! Just when I thought it was a normal pair of sunglasses, the inside of the rim had camo print! And stuff like a teddy bear dressed in military uniform. I've collected quite a lot of camo stuff thanks to you! Now that I've gotten this far, I look forward to what I'll get next!

I was tidying up my stuff at my parents' house, and so much material turned up! Stuff like an MD from 2003, or a VHS of my solo concert. Out of all the stuff that turned up, the most interesting one was the comments we sent to Nino for Fight Song.
